Employment Law Committee
MDLA’s Employment Law Committee consists of attorneys who primarily represent employers and their insurers. The Committee meets approximately every other month. Notices of meeting dates/times/locations can be found on the sidebar to the right. The Committee
strives to present on hot topics in employment law that are relevant and timely for its members, including legal developments, caselaw updates, significant decisions or initiatives of the courts and applicable state and federal agencies, mediators,
issues related to electronic discovery and social media, employment separation agreements, and other issues. Guest speakers ranging from agency administrators, legal counsel and investigators, to mediators, are regularly invited to discuss their unique
perspectives and case trends

It meets the first Wednesday of every other month – February, April, June, October, and December (not August). Notices of meeting dates/times/locations can be found by reviewing upcoming events.
